Our History
We added our craft beer, the Galletto to be eaten strictly with our hands and lots of good music, that of Radio BEFED, our Radio. This is how the magic and the BEFED spirit was born”.
1996
Aviano's first opening
The first brewery opened its doors in July 1996 in Aviano, as a brew pub with an adjoining micro-brewery. Across Italy, there were six.
2002
Local opening in Lignano
In 2002, the third brew pub was opened, in Lignano (UD), and the Franchising was born, which led to a costly expansion and the affiliation of new members within the business.
2016
The new BEFED formula
After 20 years of success, BEFED is introducing two important innovations in 2016: the BEFED Food Truck, a specially equipped vehicle used for trade fairs and large events.

Small & Take Away formula
With this new formula, BEFED aimed to bring the original format closer to customers in large shopping centres and city centres. IBEFED, with its Galletto and its craft beer, reaching out to a wider and more heterogeneous clientele
2017
BEFED IN SHOPPING CENTRES
BEFED EASY was born with smaller economic commitments for potential investors than those required for an Original premises with very large areas. But, above all, with significant margins and opportunities for business and development of the franchise network in large geographical areas that are still vacant.
2017
Gianpietro d'Adda new President
As of 5 October 2017, Gianpietro D'Adda is the new President and sole director of BEFED Franchising. Maintaining the same inimitable style and philosophy, an important revaluation process of the premises begins.
2019
BEFED lands in France
BEFED lands in France, opening its first brew pub in Thonon les Baines, bringing the best beer and the original Italian cockerel across the Alps.
2020
BEFED becomes sustainable
BEFED chooses to adopt a more sustainable policy. Placemats and coasters made of sustainable materials suitable for food contact, printed with special inks, are being introduced in all establishments. Although there is no obligation to do so, and although these specific items are not in direct contact with food, this choice is made in order to guarantee maximum safety for our customers and to support companies that are committed to offering certified, safe and sustainable products.
